The short answer

Dealr fits a dealer who wants one system for deals, accounting, service, loans, titles and the website. Its contract lets you export your data free for 60 days after you leave. Read the term closely, since ending an annual term early costs half the remaining fees. AutoFire is not a DMS; it fits dealers who want only a website, feeds and leads, with no contract.

What to check before you choose Dealr

  • Ending an annual term early costs 50% of the fees for the unexpired portion, paid or not.
  • Cancellation takes effect 30 days after notice, and amounts already paid are not refunded.
  • Annual and multi-year terms auto-renew for one year unless you give notice 30 days before the term ends.
  • You indemnify Dealr for website and listing claims, including ADA, privacy, tracking and cookie-consent claims.
  • Unreported rooftops can be billed per-rooftop fees back as far as 24 months.
  • Custom form programming is billed, and Dealr may add the form to its library for other customers.
  • We did not review dealr.cloud's product or pricing pages, because the site opts out of AI agents. Check them yourself.

  • You want a written right to export your data free for 60 days after leaving.

Choose AutoFire if

  • You already have a DMS you like and only need a better website.

  • You want an AI website assistant that answers shoppers from your live inventory.

Questions to ask on a Dealr demo

  1. What are my monthly fees, and which ones are charged per rooftop?
  2. Is my first term month-to-month, annual or multi-year, and does it auto-renew?
  3. What would it cost to end my term early?
  4. Which listing sites does inventory syndication reach, and at what cost?
  5. Which website claims, such as ADA or tracking, would I be responsible for?
  6. Does API or AI Client Connection access cost extra?

Switching from Dealr to AutoFire

  • Export your data, such as CSV or JSON, during the term or within 60 days after it ends; after that it is deleted.
  • Give written notice. Cancellation takes effect 30 days later, and annual terms need non-renewal notice 30 days before they end.
  • Dealr's terms say you own your websites and handle your own domain registration, so move the domain yourself.
  • You can keep Dealr as your DMS and move only the website: export inventory as a CSV and import it into AutoFire.

Paste your current website on the AutoFire homepage to preview your own cars on AutoFire, or compare plans by lot size.
