Google Vehicle Listings inventory feed

Put your live inventory in front of people searching for vehicles on Google—without maintaining a second spreadsheet. AutoFire generates a structured XML feed from the same stock and prices as your website, with links back to your vehicle detail pages. You enable the channel in Distribution, copy a private feed link, and connect it where Google or your agency expects inventory data.

Why connect Google Vehicle Listings?

Google is often the first place buyers search for a year/make/model or “used cars near me.” A feed helps you show accurate vehicles alongside your pricing and photos in inventory experiences that depend on fresh data—not a static PDF. Because AutoFire builds listings from your actual inventory module, your feed and your website stay aligned when you add, sell, or repricing a unit.

What this means for your dealership

Your vehicle pages on AutoFire still carry structured data for organic search; the feed is an additional path for inventory programs that accept Merchant-style vehicle data—use both where it makes sense for your market.

You stay in control of Google programs and budgets: AutoFire does not run Google Ads or Merchant Center for you. Use the private link with the workflow Google assigns (including any Partner Portal or diagnostic tools they provide).

How it works

  • AutoFire publishes a XML inventory file you enable under Dashboard → Distribution.
  • Copy the private HTTPS feed link and share it only with Google or your agency—treat it like a password.
  • Feeds stay in sync with your inventory on a regular refresh cadence; you can trigger a manual refresh or reset the link from Distribution when your process requires it.
  • Turn the integration off anytime if you need to pause what partners can pull.

Partner-side setup

Follow Google’s current instructions for Vehicle Listings, Partner Portal, or related programs. AutoFire does not configure Google accounts or billing—paste your feed URL where their onboarding asks for inventory data.

FAQ

Is this feed the same as SEO on my vehicle pages?
They work together. Your AutoFire vehicle detail pages use on-page structured data for organic discovery. The XML feed is a separate export for Google inventory workflows that accept this format—use what your Google contact recommends.
Does AutoFire run Google Ads or guarantee program acceptance?
No. AutoFire provides your website, inventory, and feed link. Advertising and program eligibility are between you and Google.
Why might Google’s onboarding mention CSV or SFTP while AutoFire shows XML?
Google’s Vehicle Listings ecosystem includes multiple onboarding paths. AutoFire’s export follows the linked Merchant vehicle data reference; validate the file in Google’s tools for the path you are assigned.
What if I reset my private feed link?
Distribution warns that the old URL stops working immediately—update any saved URLs at Google or with your agency.
