DealerCenter Review: Websites, Pricing, and Dealer Fit

DealerCenter sells dealer websites alongside DMS and CRM products. This review covers its published prices, website features, and the questions to resolve before adding a site or switching dealership software.

By AutoFire · Researched

The short answer

DealerCenter lists Premium Website at $99 per month and Premium Pro Website at $125 per month. DMS and CRM products have separate prices. Consider DealerCenter if your staff already uses its software or you plan to change those systems together. For a website-only purchase, ask which additional products the quoted setup requires.

What does a DealerCenter website include?

DealerCenter describes responsive sites, customizable design, inventory pages, chat, reporting, and SEO services. Its product page also lists a website AI agent. Ask which of these features your quoted website tier includes.

The website page uses “Premium Plus” terminology while the pricing page lists “Premium Website” and “Premium Pro Website.” Ask the representative to map the names on your quote to the features in the demonstration. That prevents choosing a design or lead tool shown in a demo that belongs to another package.

For a useful walkthrough, bring one vehicle with a long options list, several photos, and a price change. Ask to see the inventory listing, vehicle detail page, inquiry notification, and mobile view. Then have the representative explain who can edit each part after launch.

How much does DealerCenter cost?

As an illustration, the listed Premium Website, DMS, and CRM Plus prices total $297 per month, or $3,564 over twelve months. This example adds three public line items. It is not a required bundle or a quote, and it excludes discounts and other charges.

An existing DealerCenter customer should compare the incremental cost of adding a website. A new customer should compare the full website, DMS, and CRM proposal.

Request a written proposal that identifies required modules, optional services, usage allowances, implementation charges, cancellation terms, and support. Ask what happens to billing after any trial. Use the same inventory size and staff requirements when requesting another vendor’s proposal.

Advantages and tradeoffs to evaluate

For existing DealerCenter users. If your staff already works inside DealerCenter, a connected website may reduce the number of systems they need to monitor. Follow a test inquiry from submission to the assigned salesperson to check the handoff.

For dealers buying a website only. Separate product tiers require a clear scope. A lot shopping only for a website may spend more time sorting modules than a store already planning a wider software change.

For dealers replacing several systems. If you replace the website, CRM, and DMS together, staff training and data checks become part of the launch. Assign an owner to each system, record what needs to move, and stage the cutover so the business can keep responding to shoppers.

Questions for your DealerCenter demo

  • Which website tier is being shown, and which displayed features cost extra?
  • Can we keep our existing DMS or CRM? What changes in that configuration?
  • Where does inventory get edited, and how do failed or delayed updates get reported?
  • Can the owner access analytics, domain settings, and lead exports directly?
  • Who handles content changes, and what turnaround is included in the agreement?
  • What happens to inventory pages, photos, and lead history when we leave?

Ask for a recent dealer site using the exact package you are considering. Try it on your own phone, including filters and forms. This review does not include controlled speed tests, so it does not rank DealerCenter’s performance against other providers.

Which alternatives should you compare?

If you prefer a bundled buying decision, read Carsforsale vs DealerCenter. If keeping a separate DMS is central to the project, the Dealer Car Search review provides a different workflow to investigate.

For a website-led purchase, compare AutoFire’s dealer websites, lead tools, and current plans. AutoFire should be evaluated on those jobs; this review does not claim it replaces DealerCenter’s full operational scope.
